Summer time lows

As some of you might know it’s been ten years since I’ve been working my local rivers for the entire season. I’ve spent my summers guiding Beaver island, and most recently Alaska. I’ve found it to be extremely fun and exciting to be here as of late. It’s fun remembering how and where I used to find and catch fish. Currently the Kankakee is the lowest it’s been in years, the grass is growing nicely and it’s doing its job acting as a natural filter. The river is getting supper clear. You have to step up your game in regards to distance and presentation in the summer. A wide variety of patterns are working daily.
John and I are currently filling our Arkansas season let me know if you’d like to come down with us.
