It’s been outstanding being on the river every day the last few months. With the serious lack of rain the river is low and low is a understatement. Fish are extremely spooky this time of year so long stealthy casts are required. Leave the big streamers at home, now is not the time for them. Down size and go with natural colors. A observation I’ve seen while floating. If your wading the river STOP constantly walking! Slow down and take your time. The fish can feel you coming, try and go as stealthy as possible. I have literally a couple dates in September open and October is filling there’s still time to get yourself on the water this season.
