That happened quick.

The peak colors of the leaves have come and went. Instead of cleaning floating grass from your flies you’re pulling leaves off of them. Smallmouth are still active with the cooler water and they’re eating well before winter sets in. I’ve been asked this summer, “when do you stop guiding?” My answer is, I don’t. This is my full time job! I don’t have a office gig, I don’t only guide on weekends or when conditions are perfect. If you want to play the weather windows in the colder months let’s do it. My boats don’t get put away for the winter.
